Finally the results have been counted and the judges have made their decision!
We have had an overwhelming number of entries for Dragon Zoo's first ever artwork competition and we can't thank all of you enough for the amazing drawings submitted to us.
The competition was judged in two ways. One winner was the picture with the most likes on the DZ Facebook fan page and the other was decided by ourselves.
Below are the results and the original submissions!
Winner of the public vote goes to Madison Butler (Age 18) with a fantastic picture of the Desert Stalker!
Description: Desert Stalker. Found in the
desert, these swift runner's hunt in packs to bring down large prey. Though
they have wings, they do not fly often, but usually display their wings to scare
away bigger predators or to attract a mate. They are uninterested in
humans, unless they are really hungry.
Winner of the judges vote goes to Lenka Kollerová (Age 17) who painted an incredible interpretation of Toothless from How To Train Your Dragon.
Description: My name is Lenka and I am from Czech republic. I drew a dragon Night Fury from one of my favourite animated films: How To Train Your Dragon (by DreamWorks Animation). It is a character from this movie, but this picture is painted by me. His name is Toothless, it is gorgeous black dragon and I think many peoples knows him. I love this film :)
Thank you to everyone who took part in drawing, submitting, commenting and voting on this competition!
